CBIC Recruitment 2022 – Qualification

Qualification (शैक्षणिक पात्रता) :

1).Tindel :

Essential:

1. 8th standard pass
2. 10 years vessel experience in sea going with 5 years experience in independent handling of mechanised craft fitted with auxiliary sails.

Desirable:

1. Certificate of competency inland Master 1st class for or
2. Certificate of service
3. Matriculation or equivalent

2) Sukhani :

Essential:

1. 8th standard pass
2. 7 years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in mechanised craft fitted with independent handling of auxiliary sails.

Desirable:

1. Certificate of competency for inland Master 2nd class or
2. Certificate of service
3. Matriculation or equivalent

3) Engine Driver :

Essential:

1. 8th standard pass
2. 10 years service on sea going auxiliary machinery. vessel with 5 years in independent

Desirable:

1. Certificate of competency for inland Driver Class-I or
2. certificate of service
3. Matriculation or equivalent

4) Launch Mechanic :

Essential:

1. 8th standard pass
2. 5 years service on sea going vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery.

Desirable:

1. Certificate of competency for inland Driver Class-II
2. certificate of service
3. Matriculation or equivalent

5) Tradesman :

Essential:

1. I.T.I. Certificate in Mechanic/ Diesel/Mechanic/Fitter /Turner/Welder/Electrician/ Instrumental/ Carpentry
2. 10th class or equivalent
3. 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair organisation

Desirable:

1. Experience in FRP (Fibre class Reinforce Plastic) lamination and repair work.
2. First aid/fire fighting / Industrial safety course.

6) Seaman :

Essential:

1. 10th class pass or equivalent
2. 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.

Desirable:

• Certificate of competency as “Mate of fishing vessel” issued by Marine Mercantile Department
